December
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all ok.
DECEMBER!
The last month of the year. The last month of 2020. A challenging year we have gone through due to the coronavirus.
This year has been a tough one. So many diseases, so many health and mental problems that people have been going through. It's very difficult to cope with these problems, whether they are minor or major ones, but as people, we need to find the strength and joy to become happy again. I mean literally happy. But if you can't, then leave a little smile break your lips open; to help keep your mental health intact which is much more important. I know it's difficult but where there's a will, there's a way! So don't give up!
DECEMBER!
Have you all been good girls and boys during this year?
As far as I'm concerned, I have been a good girl but I don't know if Santa will climb down the chimney and leave my present under the Christmas tree like he did when I was a little girl, in Sydney. I think I'm too old for Christmas presents now, but again, I still believe in Santa. I will always believe in him no matter what. Whether he brings me a Christmas present or not. It's up to him. I won't keep grudges!
DECEMBER!
The month of cold in the Northern Hemisphere. The month of summer in the Southern Hemisphere. How different Christmas is in these two hemispheres! Surely there are many differences but there are also some similarities.
First and foremost, Christmas is an annual holiday celebrated on the 25th of December every year regarding Christian Orthodox and Catholics. It commemorates the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.
Second, this annual holiday includes gift-giving, church celebrations, the exchange of cards (personally I love handmade ones, like the ones I have been making the past 3 years and sending them to friends overseas.)
Finally, the display of various decorations - including the Christmas tree lights, mistletoe, nativity scenes, and holly.
Santa is associated with bringing gifts to children at Christmas so those of you who have little children and believe in Santa, ask them to be good boys and girls this Christmas so Santa can bring them their gifts.
Let's hope that Santa doesn't come down with the coronavirus!! Alas!
So, this is all about December, the last month of the year. Enjoy every day till the month is over and have a great Christmas holiday. If you don't feel like going out or cannot go out due to a lockdown what better thing can you do? Put a smile on your face and start reading 'One more smile.... I'm sure that this novel will brighten your days.
Bye for now,
Chrisoula
